What is NDIS Transport Support?

Our transport-related support helps eligible NDIS participants get where they need to go. A support worker may accompany you on public transport, support travel planning, assist with accessible journeys or provide agreed transport for daily activities. Arrangements are based on your goals, safety needs, funding and applicable transport and vehicle requirements.

Can a support worker drive me?

Transport can be arranged if the worker, vehicle, insurance and service arrangements are appropriate and the support is eligible under your plan.

Can you help with public transport?

Yes. Workers can assist with journey planning, tickets, accessibility and learning familiar routes.

Will I pay for kilometres?

Travel and vehicle charges depend on applicable NDIS rules and your service agreement. We explain agreed costs before your booking.

Can you take me to medical appointments?

Assistance to attend may be eligible when disability-related. Clinical appointment fees remain separate.

Is weekend transport available?

We can discuss availability and any applicable weekend rates at the time of scheduling.

How is this support funded?

NDIS funding depends on your disability-related needs, approved plan and applicable NDIS supports rules. Our team can discuss the proposed support with you.
